Play it in the rough The nine-hole layout was built on a natural elk grazing meadow in 1976. Over time it has been transformed into one of the most golfer-friendly courses in the Kootenays. Each hole has two sets of tees so the back nine plays much different than the front nine. The course plays through towering spruce and over and along a meandering creek – water comes into play on six of the nine holes. Challenging and fun We boast two of the toughest par 3s in the Kootenays – the 184 yard 5th and the 195 yard 12th. Both holes demand accurate tee shots to heavily guarded greens. Each of the rest of the holes has its own unique challenges but you'll find with wide open fairways and ample room for errant shots, beginners will have as much fun as the experienced players. |
